Fees & Hours of Operation

Effective as of 1st April 2024

Session Times 

• Full Day (8am - 5:30pm)

  All snacks and meals included. Children booked in for a full day have a place allocated from 8am to 5.30pm and adjustments cannot be made for late drop off’s or early collections.

• Short Day (8am - 3.30pm)

  Breakfast snack, full cooked lunch and afternoon snack included.

• Additional Hours*

• Short Day Sessions may be extended to a Full Day and this will be charged as an additional 2 hours at our hourly rate (see above). 

Fees effective from 1st April 2024. Reviewed annually or as necessary.

* Additional hours must be confirmed to ensure we maintain adult:child ratios, and are not intended to be used as regular bookings.

Funded Places

2 YEAR OLDS: You could be entitled to 15 hours a week of EARLY EDUCATION or ACHIEVING 2 YEAR OLD Funding. Funded places are available at Angel Day Nursery for eligible two year olds from the term after their 2nd birthday, with a valid eligibility code or confirmation of A2YO Funding from Glos CC. If eligible, your child is entitled to have up to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks to be used during the school terms.

3 & 4 YEAR OLDS: Funded EARLY EDUCATION places are available for all 3 and 4 year old children at Angel Day Nursery. The entitlement is for 15 or 30 hours per week over 38 weeks in the year. Your child will be eligible for the universal 15 hours (and the extended 15 hours for eligible working families) at the start of the term following their third birthday until they become statutory school age:

• Born between 1st April and 31st August- eligible from 1st September
• Born between 1st September and 31st December - eligible from 1st January
• Born between 1st January and 31st March - eligible from 1st April

How you choose to use your funded place will depend on your personal circumstances and availability of the sessions. Funded places at Angels are available to be factored into your existing nursery bookings. For example, if you need your child to attend nursery for more than 15 or 30 hours a week, you can book the required sessions, and charges will be made for the hours over and above the funded place (i.e., the non funded hours). You may want to increase your attendance at nursery to take advantage of the full entitlement.

Please note that the funding is only available for 38 weeks of the year, and full fees are charged for the 14 Non-Funded weeks.  It can be split between 2 settings, however depending on your individual place arrangements, additional charges will be made for hours not covered by the funding and for meals and consumables provided.

How can fees be paid?

Full fees are charged for bank holidays in respect of both full and part-time children.

We are unable to offer a reduction for any part weeks your child may be absent.

• Short Days begin at 8am and conclude at 3.30pm (Includes breakfast snack, full cooked lunch and afternoon snack)
• Daily Care begins at 8am and concludes at 5.30pm (Includes breakfast snack, full cooked lunch, afternoon snack and tea)
