Funded Places
Working Parent Entitlement & Acheiving 2 YEAR OLD FUNDING: You could be entitled to 15 hours a week of EARLY EDUCATION or ACHIEVING 2 YEAR OLD Funding. Funded places are available at Angel Day Nursery for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months or 2 years, with a valid eligibility code or confirmation of A2YO Funding from Glos CC. If eligible, your child is entitled to have up to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks to be used during the school terms.
3 & 4 YEAR OLDS: Funded EARLY EDUCATION places are available for all 3 and 4 year old children at Angel Day Nursery. The entitlement is for 15 or 30 hours per week over 38 weeks in the year. Your child will be eligible for the universal 15 hours (and the extended 15 hours for eligible working families) at the start of the term following their third birthday until they become statutory school age:
- Born between 1st April and 31st August- eligible from 1st September
- Born between 1st September and 31st December - eligible from 1st January
- Born between 1st January and 31st March - eligible from 1st April

Please note that the funding is only available for 38 weeks of the year, and full fees are charged for the 14 Non-Funded weeks. It can be split between 2 settings, however depending on your individual place arrangements, additional charges will be made for hours not covered by the funding and for meals and consumables provided.
Funded Hours are FREE of CHARGE and itemised on invoices accordingly. The Government funding is not intended to cover the cost of meals, non-food consumables, additional hours or additional services. Additional Charge Information is available on request.
The Additional Charges reflect the quality of the home cooked meals & regular snacks provided, all non-food consumables as required as well as events, celebrations and outings at Angel Day Nursery. If you do not wish to take up a place that offers all these optional extras, alternative options that may suit your requirements may be available, however the hours may differ to our standard sessions and have limited availability.
How can fees be paid?

Full fees are charged for bank holidays in respect of both full and part-time children.
We are unable to offer a reduction for any part weeks your child may be absent.
- Short Days begin at 8am and conclude at 3.30pm (Includes breakfast snack, full cooked lunch and afternoon snack)
- Daily Care begins at 8am and concludes at 5.30pm (Includes breakfast snack, full cooked lunch, afternoon snack and tea)
